OF MUM, AND BISCUITS

I have been away for a while. But, what to do? Too many things happening. Mum has gone to meet her mum at her hometown. I have been busy getting used to a new full-time attendant who looks after my needs. Also had a slight tummy upset for a couple of days. So I was not in the mood to dictate my blog.

These days, my favourite sitting place is the lounge in the living room. Dad keeps on looking at some thing (Biswadeep says: a book) for two hours, even more, while I play with my toys next to him. At night, I go to sleep with him in the bedroom. Have been using mummy’s pillow since she is not around. It smells of her.

Recently, dad has been feeding me a new kind of biscuit that he too eats. It is awesome! I have been also trying to figure out how a lot of cold air gushes out of a big box. I don’t know what it is. But it feels good.

Dad came home a little while ago. I will get my evening snack very soon. What will I eat today? Your guess is as good as mine!

TEETHING TROUBLE

There has been a change in my life lately. I have discovered that Shower to Shower talcum powder smells good. So everyday after dad takes a bath, I run after him and make sure that he rubs some powder on my body too. Dad also sprays something on his body which smells really nice but looks like water. But he does not spray that on me because mum says it will spoil my hair.
Today morning I went off to sleep with my parents at two in the night. Actually I had slept on my bed, but I realised I wasn't too comfortable there. So I woke up and went off to sleep with them. After I got up all fresh, I started to play with my dad when he was half asleep. I used his hand as a teether, and kept on biting like I normally do. Dad deserves it. Even now I haven't got a gift. And, it has been six days since they bought me my last one. Woah, such a long time!

I LOVE CHICKEN THE WAY MUM COOKS IT!

You guys know I love Chocos. And milk is so yummy! But I really like it when mum, dad and I have the same food at the same time! Yesterday, all of us had plain chicken curry and rice for dinner. This was after the three of us had snacked on watermelon.I sat on my dad's lap, and he fed me small pieces because the large ones slip out of my mouth. My teeth is still growing, hence I can't keep the big pieces inside very often.
The weather has become warm, and I don't enjoy plain water. So, both my parents mix cold water with regular water in my bowl which I drink heartily. Dad gave me a little Coke yesterday. Chilled Coke. He is stupid since I have given enough indications that I don't like it all.
It's been a while since I got any gift from my parents. I think they realise it too!

MIRROR, MIRROR, WHAT DO YOU DO?

A few days back, I finished breakfasting on Chocos and milk - have no idea how humans can eat 'plain' corn flakes...yuck! - before climbing on to the bed on which I sleep with mum and dad. Most casually, I decided to stand on my hind paws while holding on to the bed's backrest with my front paws. That is when I saw what my parents refer to as the 'mirror'. I was surprised to see someone who stood the way I did, staring back at me. I barked in astonishment, and the guy in front of me did the same without making any noise. I nodded my head, and so did that fellow.
Did I see myself? Is that why mum and dad spend time in front of it, more particularly, mum? When I figure that out, I will let you know. In the meantime, let me get back to my new toy!
